Overview

We have learned a LOT in this class about AI ethics and the need for frameworks to help guide development and deployment of AI ethics for the Earth Sciences.  For our last module, we are going to examine any advanced topics in AI ethics that come up during the semester (since this is a constantly evolving field) as well as read about different organizations that are focusing on the future of ethical and responsible AI development.  We will also finalize the set of AI ethics values and principles that we have developed as a class.

I usually have only one image for the overview but I could not resist both of these.  One shows us our Earth as it is and one I generated in Firefly with the idea of AI taking care of our Earth (robots are how to show AI in generated art apparently).
